This Privacy Policy explains how Listonaut ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by [Operator legal name / business entity], collects, uses, and shares information when you use Listonaut (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your email address and authentication data, managed through our auth provider (Supabase).
Content you provide: product photos, descriptions, store names, and the listings you generate and save.
Billing information: your subscription plan, status, and payment records. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Usage data: credit transactions, actions taken, and basic technical logs (such as IP address and request metadata) used for security and operating the Service.
Etsy connection (optional): if you connect your Etsy shop, we store access tokens and your shop identifier so we can create draft listings for you.

2. How we use information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
To generate listing content from the inputs you submit;
To process payments, manage subscriptions, and track credit balances;
To send transactional email (e.g., account confirmation, password resets);
To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers we share with

We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service:

4. AI processing

The product photos and text you submit are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate your listings. We do not use your content to train our own models. Please review your provider-facing inputs and avoid submitting sensitive personal information you don't want processed.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage and essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see below).

7. Your rights & choices

Access, correct, or delete your account data;
Cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal;
Disconnect your Etsy shop at any time, which removes the stored tokens;
Request a copy of your data.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and encrypted secrets. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. International users

We operate from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you understand your information may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
